Brad Marquez Suffers “Major” Knee Injury; Done for Texas Tech Football Season
Texas Tech wide receiver, and Mets centerfielder Brad Marquez has tweeted that he is done for the Texas Tech football season after suffering a knee injury in Tech’s 49-14 upset of West Virginia Saturday.
Officially done for the year. Thanx to everyone for your thoughts and prayers! God has a plan and everything happens for a reason!! 🙏

Last week, Matt Cerrone reported that Marquez was considering giving up football to play baseball full-time.
The Lubbock Avalanche-Journal calls the injury “major.” If this is code for a torn ACL (and surgery) Marquez might miss most if not all of the 2013 baseball season.
