The Cyclones put together a nearly flawless performance on Thursday, as they routed Aberdeen 13-0.
Let’s start with the pitching. Starter Jeffrey Walters led the way: 6 IP, 1 hit, 2 bb, 3k, 11GBO/3AO.

Nester Moreno‘s two-out two-run single in the bottom of the ninth lifted Kingsport to a 7-6 win over Johnson City in walk-off fashion.
The two teams combined for 27 hits and 13 runs.
Julio Concepcion (3-5, 2B) and Tillman Pugh (2-4, bb, SB) collected multi-hit games for Kingsport.
The 21-year old Concepcion (pictured) is now hitting .352/.373/.457. His .352 batting average ranks him in a tie for fifth in the APPYL.
