Las Vegas 2 - Iowa 0: RHP Matthew Bowman continues to impress on mound, throwing 7 1/3 innings of shutout ball. He allowed four hits, struck out seven and issued two walks on the way to collecting his second Triple-A win. SS Matt Reynolds smacked his 12th double. Cesar Puello 16th two-bagger of the season. Binghamton 8 – Reading 7: The top three batters in the B-Mets lineup, Brandon Nimmo, Dilson Herrera and Brian Burgamy, each homered. Nimmo extended his hitting streak to six games in the process and now has six long-balls in Double-A. Herrera has now hit safely in 40 of 48 games in the Eastern League. Burgamy has homered in back-to-back games and 23 times this season. Cody Satterwhite got the save and lowered his era to 1.38. >>Read more at MiLB.com


St, Lucie 10 – Bradenton 7:  L.J. Mazzilli cracked his fourth FSL homer in the opening inning and finished the game 2-for-4, including  double. He’s hit safely in three straight games and seven of his last nine. Jared Kind also had two hits, one of which was a double, pushing his hit streak to four games. Gavin Cecchini was on base twice thanks to a single and a walk. Cole Frenzel, Jeff McNeil and Cam Maron had a pair of knocks each. Greenville 4 – Savannah 16: The Sand Gnats pounded out 16 runs on 15 hits, three of which were homers and five doubles. It all started when Jonathan Leroux hit a grand slam in the bottom of the 1st. Victor Cruzado followed with the three-run shot in the 2nd. He finished with three hits and three rbi. Jorge Rivero capped off the home run parade, crushing a two-run blast in the 5th. Brooklyn 7 – Vermont 0: RHP Marcos Molina allowed just one hit and no runs in seven dazzling innings on the mound, with 12 strikeouts and one walk. His era is down to 1.58 in 10 starts. Tomas Nido was 3-for-4 with a double, extending his hitting streak to six games. Jhoan Urena homered and singled, pushing his hitting streak to 11 games. Michael Conforto singled and walked in four plate appearances. John Mora had two more hits and has six multi-hit games since moving to Brooklyn. Bristol 5 – Kingsport 11: 1B Zach Mathieu homered, doubled, drove in three runs and scored twice. He now has a six game hitting streak. 2013 10th round pick Luis Guillorme singled twice and has hit safely in 14 of his last 15 games. >>Read more at MiLB.com


GCL Marlins 3 - GCL Mets 0: Four Mets pitchers combined to throw the shutout. Enmanuel Zabala and Alfredo Reyes had two hits each.
