New Orleans 7 – Las Vegas 8 (11): A night that started very poorly for Noah Syndergaard improved greatly after the 1st inning. The right-hander gave up five earned runs on five hits in the opening frame but rebounded to only allow an unearned run and three hits for the next five innings. He finished with eight strikeouts and one walk. Matt Reynolds had a tremendous night at the dish, going reaching base five times on a double, three singles and a walk. Akron 3 - Binghamton 12: Dilson Herrera had another outstanding night at the plate, going 3-for-3 with two doubles, a walk and four rbi. He now has 17 doubles and 29 extra base hits in 54 Eastern League games and is batting .344. Darrell Ceciliani extended his hitting streak to 10 games with three hits, including a three-run homer. Wilfredo Tovar raised his batting average to .299 with a 3-for-4 effort. Brandon Nimmo added his fourth Double-A triple. >>Read more at MiLB.com


Jupiter 1 – St. Lucie 0, game 1: The Mets offense could only muster five singles. OF Jared King had three of them to raise his batting average to .292. Jeff McNeil and Gilbert Gomez had the other two knocks. Luis Cessa was outstanding, despite not getting any run support. The right-hander threw all seven innings, allowing one run on three hits, with five strikeouts and one walk. >>Read more at MiLB.com

Jupiter 2 – St. Lucie 4, game 2: Domingo Tapia picked up his sixth win of the season, tossing 6 2/3 innings of two-run ball, with six strikeouts and one walk. Gavin Cecchini was 2-for-2 with two doubles, a walk and a pair of runs scored. 1B Cole Frenzel doubled for the ninth time this year and plated two runs. Savannah 5 – Greenville 6: Champ Stuart extended his hitting streak to seven games with a pair of singles. Jorge Rivero smacked his fourth homer of the season. Dominic Smith was 0-for-5. Yeixon Ruiz reached base four times on a single and three walks. >>Read more at MiLB.com


Tri-City 0 - Brooklyn 7: The Brooklyn offense pounded out seven runs on 13 hits, 11 of which were singles. Michael Conforto was 2-for-4, including his seventh double of the season. Kingsport 4 – Bluefield 8 (5), game 1: Vicente Lupo extended his hitting streak to five games with a three-run homer in the 3rd inning. It was his fifth long-ball of the season. Florida native Luis Guillorme singled twice for his fourth multi-hit game in his last nine starts. Wuilmer Becerra smacked his 10th double of the season and drove in a run. >>Read more at MiLB.com
