Las Vegas 4 – Sacramento 2: Matt den Dekker smacked his eighth Triple-A homer and added a pair of singles for his 10th multiple-hit game since July 21, a span of 16 games. Since that day, he’s 26-for-60 (.433) with nine doubles, a triple and two home runs. Cesar Puello plated two runs with a double in the 6th inning. Matt Reynolds was 0-for-4. RHP Logan Verrett had a wonderful night on the mound, taking a shutout into the 9th inning before giving up a solo homer to open the frame. His final line: 8+IP, 3H, 1R, 1ER, 3BB, 7K. St. Lucie 10 – Clearwater 4: Maikis De La Cruz picked up his first career four-hit game, going 4-for-6 with a double and three rbi. L.J. Mazzilli returned to the lineup after a couple of days off and was 2-for-4 with a double, walk, two rbi and two runs scored. Jeff McNeil also had a pair of knocks, one of which was a two-bagger. Connecticut 3 - Brooklyn 4: Michael Conforto has now hit in three straight games after a 1-for-4 effort. CF John Mora, who moved from the GCL to Brooklyn last week, connected on a pair of hits, including a double. 2013 3rd round pick Casey Meisner had a nice day on the mound, surrendering one earned run in six innings with six strikeouts. >>Read more at MiLB.com


Kingsport 4 – Pulaski 6: LF Vicente Lupo had the only multiple-hit effort, going 2-for-3 with a double and a walk. Wuilmer Becerra was 1-for-4 and scored a run. Eudor Garcia singled once in three at-bats and also scored a run. Zach Mathieu was 1-for-4 with a pair driven in and has hit in five straight. >>Read more at MiLB.com


GCL Marlins 1 – GCL Mets 2 (6): The game was completed early because of rain. SS Milton Ramos collected his third two-hit game in his last five starts. One of the hits was a double and he drove in a run. Dash Winningham plated the other run with a double of his own. >>Read more at MiLB.com
