Binghamton 11 – Erie 4: CF Darrell Ceciliani had a game to remember, cracking two home runs and driving in four. It’s his fifth consecutive game with two hits, a streak that has raised his average to .280. Brandon Nimmo smacked a two-run homer in the 6th inning. It’s his fourth round-tripper in 89 at-bats since being promoted to Double-A. He had four in 227 at-bats this year in St. Lucie. Lakeland 3 – St. Lucie 2, game 1: Rafael Montero made his second rehab start as he attempts to return from a strained oblique and it went very well: 4IP, 2H, 0R, 0ER, 1BB, 4K. Jeff McNeil, Aderlin Rodriguez and Phillip Evans had two hits each. Evans’ 4th inning homer was his second in as many games. Gavin Cecchini was 0-for-2 with a walk. >>Read more at MiLB.com

Lakeland 1 – St. Lucie 6, game 2: OF Jared King picked up two more singles and has hit safely in four of six games since being added to the St. Lucie roster. Eudy Pina extended his hitting streak to four games with a pair of knocks, including his sixth triple of the season. Maikis De La Cruz also had a pair of hits and has five multi-hit games since July 4. L.J. Mazzilli was 1-for-4 with a run batted in. Domingo Tapia was outstanding on the mound, shutting out Lakeland for 5 1/3 innings with seven strikeouts. >>Read more at MiLB.com


Brooklyn 0 – Connecticut 2 (6): The game was called in the top of the 6th inning because of dense fog. Cyclones starting pitcher Marcos Molina gave up two earned runs in 4 2/3 innings and was saddled with the loss. He came into the game having surrendered one earned run in 24 innings all season. Jhoan Urena and Michael Katz had two singles apiece. >>Read more at MiLB.com

GCL Marlins 3 – GCL Mets 8: Taylor Teagarden continued his rehab assignment, going 1-for-3 with a double and two strikeouts. Milton Ramos was 2-for-4 with a double and drove in three runs. Enmanuel Zabala extended his hitting streak to five games with a pair of singles. >>Read more at MiLB.com
