New Orleans 8 – Las Vegas 10: OF Cory Vaughn won the game with a pinch-hit walkoff two-run homer in the bottom of the 9th inning. It was his fifth long-ball of the season. Bobby Abreu has picked up where he left off his last stint in Vegas, going 2-for-3 with a double and three rbi. He’s batting .375 with the 51s this season. Taylor Teagarden homered, singled and drove in three runs. Matt Reynolds was 0-for-4. Lefty John Lannan had a terrible night on the mound, surrendering seven earned runs in four innings. Akron 1 – Binghamton 5: The B-Mets won for the 80th time this season. Former Mets catcher Juan Centeno was 4-for-4 with two rbi. Brandon Nimmo singled twice in five at-bats. Tri-City 5 – Brooklyn 0: The Cyclones managed only five hits. Michael Bernal had the only multi-hit effort and the only extra base hit, going 2-for-4 with a double.
