New Orleans 5 – Las Vegas 14: OF Cesar Puello had his best offensive game of the season, going 3-for-3 with a pair of doubles, a two-run homer and a walk. The homer was his fifth of the season and first since July 6. This was also his first multi-hit game since August 7. Savannah 2 – Rome 3: Dominic Smith was 1-for-4. Logan Taylor threw fairly well, surrendering two runs in 5 1/3 innings on the mound. Yeixon Ruiz tripled and drove in a run. Champ Stuart plated the other Savannah run. >>Read more at MiLB.com


Staten Island 0 – Brooklyn 2: Daisuke Matsusaka continued his rehab assignment, throwing five scoreless innings, allowing two hits, with seven strikeouts and a pair of walks.
