El Paso 0 – Las Vegas 2: Rafael Montero showed the dominating form that made him one of the top pitching prospects in the organization. The right-hander threw a season-high 6 2/3 innings without allowing a run and just three hits, walked two and struck out six. It’s his best outing since May 25, when he threw six innings of one-run ball for the Mets against Arizona. Matt den Dekker is in the midst of an incredible run of success. After collecting two more knocks Thursday, the Vegas CF has nine multiple-hit games in his last 12 starts to raise his average to .331. Matt Reynolds is also on a run of multi-hit games, picking up his fifth in a row and extending his overall hitting streak to six games with a 2-for-3 effort. >>Read more at MiLB.com


Bowie 4 – Binghamton 9: Brandon Nimmo extended his hitting streak to seven games with a three-run triple in the 6th inning. He also reached on a walk and has been on base 16 times via hit or walk during the aforementioned seven game streak. Dilson Herrera singled twice and drove in a run. He’s hit safely in 31 of 37 games in Double-A. Dustin Lawley launched his 19th home run of the season and doubled for the 23rd time. T.J. Rivera had three knocks, two of which were doubles. Dunedin 4 – St. Lucie 3: Wilfredo Tovar continued his rehab assignment, going 1-for-3 with a walk and a run scored. Jared King had a pair of hits, including a double and drove in a run.
