El Paso 8 – Las Vegas 5: Matt Reynolds was 2-for-5 at the dish, extending his hitting streak to five games, during which time he’s 10-for-22. Matt den Dekker doubled and singled and now has eight multi-hit games in his last 11 starts. He has 10 extra base hits since July 21. Allan Dykstra drove in three runs with a pinch hit double in the bottom of the 8th. Kirk Nieuwenhuis was on base three times with a single and two walks. New Hampshire 7 – Binghamton 2: Brandon Nimmo remained red hot at the plate, going 2-for-5 with a triple. He now has a six game hitting streak during which time he’s reached base 14 times via hit or walk. Dunedin 3 – St. Lucie 4, game 1: Michael Fulmer pitched exceptionally well for six shutout innings, allowing four hits, with four walks and five strikeouts. He has not allowed a run at home in his last 19 innings. Wilfredo Tovar doubled and drove in a run as the DH. L.J. Mazzilli was 2-for-4 and has hit safely in eight of his last 10 games. Eudy Pina doubled twice and plated two runs. Auburn 4 – Brooklyn 9: Michael Conforto was a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate with a walk, two rbi and two runs scored. He’s hit safely in 11 of 12 games as a professional and is batting .409. Kingsport 8 – Danville 3: Wuilmer Becerra tripled and drove in a pair of runs, extending his hitting streak to five games. He’s 9-for-21 (.428) over that span.
