Danny Muno Suspended 50 Games for PED

From the Major League Baseball Press Release:

New York Mets Minor League second baseman Daniel Muno has received a 50-game suspension after testing positive for a metabolite of Drostanolone. The suspension of Muno, who is currently on the roster of Single-A St. Lucie Mets of the Florida State League, will be effective immediately.

Wikipedia tells us that Drostanolone is “marketed as Masteron, is an anabolic steroid. …Drostanolone has been used for bodybuilding, though its high cost has made it used mainly in “cutting cycles.””

The 23-year old Muno was hitting .283/.339/.461 with 16 extra-base hits in 38 games for advanced-A St. Lucie.
