Friday 7:05 ET – RHP Cole De Vries (0-1, 3.60) vs. RHP Noah Syndergaard (5-0, 1.76)

Noah Syndergaard continues to steamroll the EL as he makes his case for Mets organizational pitcher of the year. He has allowed 5 hits and 2 walks over his last 16 IP while striking out 16. Unfair!

A: Savannah Sand Gnats (25-24) @ Augusta Greenjackets [SF] (30-23) Listen

Postponed by rain.  They will try to play four games over the next two days.
Augusta is leading the SAL Southern for the second half title.

A-Sh: Vermont LakeMonsters [OAK] (27-29) @ Brooklyn Cyclones (27-27) Listen
Friday 7:00 ET – RHP Lee Sosa (1-2, 2.73) vs. LHP Carlos Valdez (2-2, 2.58) RHP John Gant (4-2, 2.36)

Lee Sosa is a Bronx native who went to school in Binghamton. He was clearly destined to be an A’s draft pick…
Carlos Valdez hasn’t allowed more than 2 runs in any of his last five starts, striking out 21 and walking 9 over 25.1 IP.
It would help if the Cyclones own website would announce the correct pitcher.
