Josh Thole has been recalled by the New York Mets, as C Henry Blanco is placed on the bereavement list, due to a family illness.  Thole was hitting .203 with 10 RBI in 21 games for Buffalo.  Thole had a dreadful April, hitting .172 (10-58) in 15 games.  He has since heated up a bit in May, hitting .286 (6-21) in 6 games.  Blanco will be sidelined for a minimum of 3 games.
