AA Thursday: No Runs in Matinee

AA: @ New Britain Rock Cats 1, Binghamton Mets o

LHP Mark Cohoon (8 IP, 6 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 7 K) was the tough-luck loser in this day game.

RF Cesar Puello (.304/.369/.519 – 37 games) had a Puello-ish day: 1-for-3, HBP (6), SB (10). At 22 years old, there seems to be a growing sense within the fan base that the Mets should call up Cesar Puello sometime soon. They absolutely should not. He still must become more patient at the plate. He should also get a taste of AAA, where ideally he will have some success.  If he meets both criteria, where he becomes more patient, and thrives in AAA, then by all means, give him a big league look.
