Las Vegas 1 – Oklahoma City 5: Noah Syndergaard returned to action for the first time since injuring his shoulder May 21 and completed four innings of work, throwing 73 pitches. The pitching line for Noah: 4IP, 7H, 4R, 4ER, 1BB, 3K, 1HR. The 51s managed just five hits, one of which was a single for Travis d’Arnaud, who was 1-for-4. Charlotte 2 – St. Lucie 6: Left-hander Steven Matz had another good outing, collecting his fourth win of the season. The 23-year-old surrendered two earned runs on six hits in six innings, striking out six while issuing one walk. He lowered his era to 2.21 through 11 starts. Brandon Nimmo had a huge game with the lumber, going 2-for-3 with a double, triple, rbi, walk and two runs scored. Jairo Perez had another two-hit game, including a double. >>Read more at MiLB.com

Staten Island 7 – Brooklyn 2: The Cyclones lost for the first time in 2014. Amed Rosario drove in a run with a sacrifice fly but was 0-for-3. LF Joe Tuschak continued his fast start, going 3-for-3 with a double to raise his average to .417. >>Read more at MiLB.com
