Binghamton 7 – Altoona 4: Brandon Nimmo batted in the leadoff spot and reached base three times on a single and two walks. Dilson Herrera was 1-for-5 and drove in a run. Bradenton 0 – St. Lucie 1: RHP Michael Fulmer matched his longest outing of the season, throwing seven shutout frames, while allowing only three hits and striking out eight. Catcher Albert Cordero drove in the only run on a single in the 2nd inning. St. Lucie had only five hits in the game, two of them singles off the bat of SS Phillip Evans. Rome 12 – Savannah 15: If you like offense, this was the game for you. The two teams combined to score 27 runs on 31 hits. Champ Stuart and Matt Oberste had four hits each. Stuart doubled twice and scored four runs. Oberste had a homer, double and six rbi. Dominic Smith was 2-for-4 with a double and a run batted in. Staten Island 5 – Brooklyn 4: Dillon Gee threw 55 pitches in his second rehab start, which got him through 2 2/3 innings, allowing one run on four hits with six strikeouts and one walk. Michael Katz was 2-for-4, extending his hitting streak to five games during which time he’s 9-for-21 (.428). Jhoan Urena had the only extra base hit for Brooklyn, a double. >>Read more at MiLB.com
