St. Lucie 6 – Fort Myers 8: St. Lucie scored all six of their runs in the opening inning. Cam Maron doubled in the frame extending hit hitting streak to 16 games. Aderlin Rodriguez was 3-for-3 with an rbi and a run scored. L.J. Mazzilli and Jairo Perez also had two hits each. Savannah 4 – Charleston 0: Dominic Smith had two hits, including a double and is batting .272 this season. Robert Gsellman collected his sixth win, throwing seven innings of shutout ball, while allowing five hits and striking out four. He lowered his era to 2.49 in 10 starts. >>Read more at MiLB.com


Aberdeen 1 – Brooklyn 5: The Cyclones had just four hits but managed to pull out a win thanks to a wonderful effort from starting pitcher Octavio Acosta. Acosta threw six innings and limited Aberdeen to one hit and one run, while striking out seven and walking two. He’s allowed one run in 10.2 innings this season. Amed Rosario extended his hitting streak to four games with a 1-for-4 night. Tyler Moore and Michael Katz each had a pair of hits. >>Read more at MiLB.com
