RHP Simon Castro 0-1, 3.60 vs. RHP Collin McHugh 1-2, 4.55

The Bisons return home to take on the White Sox AAA affiliage, and South leading Charlotte Knights.  Collin McHugh makes his sixth start in AAA.  Simon Castro was part of the Carlos Quentin deal this past offseason and will be making his 4th AAA start.

RHP Zach Wheeler 9-4, 2.39 vs. RHP Zach Clark 8-4, 3.64

Wheeler’s follow up to his complete game shutout six days ago comes against one of the better hitting teams in the EL.  First on OBP and third in SLG.    Cory Mazzoni was placed on the DL with a right thumb laceraction, and C.J. Nitkowski has been activated.  Mike Baxter’s rehab was transferred to Binghamton, he’ll DH while Wilmer Flores sits out.  Including tonight Binghamton’s next six games will have the DH available as they are playing at AL affiliates.

Aderlin Rodriguez is off to a slow start .179/.258/.250 in the FSL.  Daniel Muno is 5 of 15 (8BB, 1K) since rejoining the Mets, he was 5 of his last 15 before being suspended for 50 games.  Muno will play SS tonight while Rivera plays 2B.

Panteliodis has had a whip near 2.0 in each month after April, allowed 78 base runners in his last 39.1 IP.

This double header is to make up for the July 3rd postponement.  Steven Matz has walked 11 and struck out 17 while holding batters to .190 over his four starts so far.  His ERA is a little misleading as half of his 10 runs allowed have been unearned.
