- Baseball America has a nice piece on Michael Fulmer, who has, relatively quietly, had a very good season for Savannah.
– Nice profile of 38 year old LHP CJ Nitkowski, in the USA Today, who is in Buffalo after dropping down to sidearm, and dealing with a rotator cuff problem last year. He learned sidearm throwing to his wife, Megan. That’s cool.
– Adam Rubin caught up with Cyclones’ catcher, and this year’s supplemental first rounder Kevin Plawecki in his weekly Farm Report at ESPNNY. Apparently, his roommate Brandon Nimmo coaxed him into a NYC adventure, “He conned me into going to the Museum of Natural History on one of the last couple off-days. I was actually glad we did it. It was kind of neat to go out and see something different,” Plawecki says.
– Ted Berg explains that the Mets’ recent awful play “is what building looks like.” Agreed, basically.
