Brett Myers will make a rehab appearance for Akron, with Roberts expected to pitch the majority of the game.

A+: St. Lucie Mets (29-27) @ Fort Myers Miracle (28-30) Listen
Saturday 6:05 ET – Rained out, double header tomorrow

St. Lucie has dropped to 3rd place, now 4 games back of Charlotte.

A: West Virginia Power (37-23) @ Savannah Sand Gnats (28-29) Listen
Saturday 5:05 ET – RHP Clay Holmes (5-6, 4.09) vs. RHP Tim Peterson (0-0, 5.19)
Sat. Game Two – RHP Kyle Haynes (1-3, 2.24) vs. LHP Steven Matz (4-6, 2.64)

This makes up for the July 19th postponement. Peterson and Matz shared a double header on Sunday. Tim Petersen limited Augusta to 1 run on 4 hits over 3.1 IP striking out 5. Steven Matz struck out 8 and walked 4 over 4+ IP, allowing 5 runs (3 ER) on 1 hit and a Jeff Reynolds error.

A-Sh: Brooklyn Cyclones (33-31) @ Vermont LakeMonsters (29-35) Listen
Saturday 7:05 ET – RHP Rob Gsellman (2-2, 1.82) vs. LHP Brent Powers (4-2, 2.61)

Robert Gsellman allowed Vermont just an unearned run on 5 hits and 1 walk over 7 IP striking out 5, in what turned into no decision. The Cyclones don’t seem to score when he pitches, or at least until after he leaves the game.  Brent Powers matched up with Gsellman six days ago and was in line for a loss (5 IP, 6 H, 3 R, 3 BB, 4 K) until the Cyclones pen blew the lead.

R: Kingsport Mets (35-25) @ Bluefield Blue Jays (39-21)
Saturday 7:05 ET – RHP Persio Reyes (4-4, 3.76) vs. LHP Zak Wasilewski (4-1, 2.82)

Persio Reyes struck out 6 and walked 1 in his last start, however he allowed 11 hits over 7 IP resulting in a loss. Kingsport maintained their half game lead on the Astros in the West, while Bluefield lost a game on its lead in the East on Pulaski which is now 1.5 games.

AAA: Fresno Grizzlies (63-70) @ Las Vegas 51s (75-57) Listen
Saturday 10:05 ET – RHP Yusmeiro Petit (5-6, 4.52) vs. RHP Matt Fox (6-4, 4.87)

The 51s gained a half game on Sacramento yesterday and have a 2 game lead, with a 3 game advantage in the loss column.  The 51s still have two extra games, upcoming double headers in Colorado Springs, to make up for the difference in games played.
Lucas Duda is hitting .378/.468/.459 over his last 10 games, with 3 doubles, 11 singles and 8 walks.  He was called up to the Mets with Mike Baxter returning to LasVegas on optional assignment.
Francisco Pena is hitting .250/.286/.475 in August with 2 homers and 3 doubles. He is 0-11 in his last 4 games, so it may just be two good games in Salt Lake propping up those numbers.
