Mark Cohoon has picked up wins in each of his last three starts (matching Montero for third on the team in AA wins) while walking just 14 batters in his last ten starts.
In his last four starts, Panteliodis has either been very good (>6 IP of shutout baseball) or hit hard as he gave up seven runs in two innings in his final start in July. For the year, he’s rocking a 46/21 K/BB ratio in 81 innings.
The Mets are in third place in the FSL South, one game behind Palm Beach with Charlotte in between.
Luis Cessa looks to back up his 12K, 4 H, 8 IP gem of a last start.
Cessa’s 2013 is coming to a close pretty soon. Cessa threw 72.1 innings over 13 starts last year for Brooklyn and he’s already sitting on 112.1 innings in 18 starts this year. I believe the Mets count extended spring trainings as half innings, and Cessa got credited with about 40 extended spring innings last year for a “real” innings number of 92 ish. That would put him 20 innings over last year’s total already and looking at just a few more starts before the Mets shut him down.
