So my annual Top 41 Mets prospect list is done.

We had a lively conversation in the comments section about specific rankings and players, but feel free to use  this thread or email me to address other questions and issues around these rankings.  I’d like to run a Top 41 mailbag or two.

I have to say, writing the Top 41 is fun, but it’s also time-consuming and stressful.  Why stressful? I think that assigning specific numbers to individual players creates a false sense of certainty. Think of the rankings in terms of rough talent levels, with slight preferences within those larger groups.
