Thursday 7/26 Games

AAA: Buffalo Bisons (51-54) @ Louisville Bats (40-66) 7:05
RHP Gonzalez Germen 6-7, 4.60 (AA) vs. RHP Todd Redmond 7-6, 3.36

The Bisons have reached Matt Harvey’s spot in the rotation and will borrow Germen from AA.  Interesting call to pass over Cohoon and Wheeler and give the Germen the shot at AAA.  Todd Redmond is the player Cincinnati acquired in the Paul Janish trade with the Braves.

Luis Mateo (6.2 IP, 6 hits, 1 R, 0 BB, 7 K) continued his stellar NYPL season.  His K:BB now sits at an absurd 48:6, with a whip of 0.74
The Cyclones offense scored all their runs in the 8th and 9th, making a winner of Logan Taylor who finished off the 7th for Mateo.  Jayce Boyd and Kevin Plawecki each had three hits and two runs scored, and Stefan Sabol had two doubles.
