The lone run for Las Vegas (6-7) came in the 4th inning when 2b Wilmer Flores drove in cf Juan Lagares from second base with a single to right field. It was the sixth run batted in this season for Flores, who atoned for his error in the 1st inning allowing the River Cats initial run to score. Lagares had a solid night, going 3 for 4 in addition to scoring the only 51s run.

Sacramento (7-6) broke a 1-1 tie in the top of the 7th inning when Grant Green doubled off Vegas reliever Gonzalez Germen (1-1) with one out. Michael Choice then drove Green in one out later with a single to left, giving the River Cats a lead they wouldn’t surrender. Germen took the loss for the 51s, his first of the season.
