Boys Like Girls’ current members are Martin Johnson (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), John Keefe (drums), Gregory James (bass) and Jamel Hawke (lead guitar). Former members are bassists Bryan Donahue and Morgan Dorr and lead guitarist Paul DiGiovanni. The American rock band formed in Andover, Massachusetts, in 2005, and Johnson and Keefe are the two founders who have been in every line-up.

Boys Like Girls History in Brief
The band toured worldwide between 2006 and 2013, including a main stage slot on the 2007 Vans Warped Tour, their first headlining tour, “Tourzilla,” in 2007, and a 2008 co-headlining run with Good Charlotte. The video for “The Great Escape” was voted the number 1 video on MTV’s Total Request Live on August 6, 2007. In 2023 they released the single “Blood and Sugar” from their fourth studio album, Sunday at Foxwoods, and have stylized the band name in all caps since then.
