Hollywood Vampires has 3 people listed as members: Alice Cooper, Joe Perry, and Johnny Depp. This list comes from MusicBrainz, retrieved 2026-11-06, and reflects the members recorded in that database. The entries below show the listed roles and years, separate the members without an end date from the original member, and relate the member years to the two studio album years recorded here.
Current Members
MusicBrainz lists all three members without an end date. In this article, “current” refers to that database detail; the years are transcribed from the member entries.
- Alice Cooper – harmonica, lead vocals, background vocals, guitar | 2012–present, 2012–present, 2012–present
- Joe Perry – guitar | 2015–present
- Johnny Depp – background vocals, guitar | 2015–present
Former Members
MusicBrainz does not list an end date for any of the three members shown above, so none of those entries is placed in a former-members list here. This describes the end-date information in the listed member relations; it does not add a person or infer a separate membership history. MusicBrainz does not list other former-member entries in the member information covered by this page.
Original Line-up
MusicBrainz marks Alice Cooper as an original member. The original-member designation in the available list applies to Alice Cooper; Joe Perry and Johnny Depp are not marked as original members there. This section reports that database label and does not assign original-member status to anyone else.
Line-up Timeline
The table keeps each member’s recorded roles and years together. Alice Cooper’s entry contains four role names and three year entries, reproduced as listed rather than expanded or reassigned. The table does not add end dates where MusicBrainz has none.
| Member | Role | Years |
|---|---|---|
| Alice Cooper | harmonica, lead vocals, background vocals, guitar | 2012–present, 2012–present, 2012–present |
| Joe Perry | guitar | 2015–present |
| Johnny Depp | background vocals, guitar | 2015–present |
The year ranges use the same wording as the MusicBrainz member entries. “Present” is retained as written in those ranges, rather than replaced with another date. A missing end date is not treated as a departure date. The table is a reference view of the three member relations, not an expanded personnel list.
Line-ups and Albums
The studio albums listed here are Hollywood Vampires (2015) and Rise (2019). Comparing those years with the member years gives the following line-up for each album year: Alice Cooper, Joe Perry, and Johnny Depp are all listed in 2015, and all three are also listed in 2019. Alice Cooper’s listed range begins in 2012 and continues to present; Joe Perry’s and Johnny Depp’s listed ranges begin in 2015 and continue to present. This is a comparison of the years shown in MusicBrainz, not an additional claim about recording or performance credits.
MusicBrainz lists Hollywood Vampires as active 2015–present and from United States. Those details provide the database’s group-level context alongside the member entries and album years. They do not change the roles or year ranges in the table. For details beyond the names, roles, years, album titles, and group information stated here, MusicBrainz does not list it in the information used for this reference.
How This List Was Compiled
The member list is based on MusicBrainz “member of band” relations, retrieved 2026-11-06. It reflects that database’s three listed member relations and their associated role, year, original-member, and end-date information. Touring and session players are not included. The MusicBrainz artist page is Hollywood Vampires on MusicBrainz. The related Wikipedia article is titled Hollywood Vampires (band); this page’s member list reflects MusicBrainz.
Database records can present only the information they list. Accordingly, this reference does not fill in missing roles or years, extend the member list, or infer a former-member entry from information that is not shown. If a reader is looking for a detail not included above, MusicBrainz does not list it here.
