Third Eye Blind have had 13 official members since forming in San Francisco in 1993. The current line-up is Stephan Jenkins, Brad Hargreaves, Kryz Reid, Alex LeCavalier and Colin Creev. Jenkins and Hargreaves are the long-standing core.
After several line-up changes in the early and mid-1990s, Jenkins and guitarist Kevin Cadogan signed the band’s first major-label deal with Elektra Records in 1996. The classic line-up of Jenkins, Cadogan, Arion Salazar and Hargreaves made the self-titled debut (1997) and Blue (1999).
Stephan Jenkins – Lead Vocals and Guitar (1993–present)
Stephan Jenkins is the band’s founder, lead vocalist and guitarist. He has also played keyboards since 1999, and he is the only member present since 1993.
Brad Hargreaves – Drums (1995–present)
Brad Hargreaves joined on drums and percussion in 1995, ending a run of short-lived drummers. After guitarist Tony Fredianelli left, Jenkins and Hargreaves were the only core members remaining.
Kryz Reid – Guitar (2010–present)
Kryz Reid has been the band’s guitarist since 2010. He joined as the line-up stabilised again in the 2010s.
Alex LeCavalier – Bass (2013–present)
Alex LeCavalier has played bass since 2013. He is the band’s first permanent bassist since Arion Salazar.
Colin Creev – Keyboards and Guitar (2019–present)
Colin Creev plays keyboards and guitar. He joined in 2019 after Alex Kopp left.

- Kevin Cadogan: guitar, backing vocals and keyboards (1993–2000). He co-wrote the early material, and after Blue he was released from the band under controversial circumstances.
- Arion Salazar: bass, backing vocals, guitar and piano (1994–2006).
- Tony Fredianelli: guitar, backing vocals and keyboards (2000–2010). He played on Out of the Vein (2003) and Ursa Major (2009).
