In 2001, both Andrew Abramowitz and John Maggard are listed as bass guitar players, with Andrew Abramowitz’s tenure lasting only that year. The transition in the bass guitar role during that year is reflected in the overlapping membership. The drums position shifted multiple times: Mike Rudberg played until 2003, followed by Mike Justian until 2007, then Derek Kerswill until 2010, and Nick Pierce from 2012 onward. The roles of guitar, background vocals, and lead vocals have been consistently held by Buz McGrath, Ken Susi, and Trevor Phipps respectively, from the band’s inception to the present.
One-year membership also applies to Iano Dovi, who played bass guitar in 2013 only, during a year when John Maggard was otherwise a current member. This indicates at least one temporary change in the bass guitar role during that time.
