Secret Santa Raffle
The Secret Santa Raffle combines the traditional gift exchange with a random drawing element. Each participant brings a wrapped gift and receives a numbered ticket upon arrival. Throughout the party, tickets are drawn one by one, and the holder gets to pick a gift from the pile. This game adds surprise and suspense, as guests don’t know what they’ll end up with until the last ticket is drawn.
Christmas Trivia Raffle
This raffle game involves handing out tickets to guests who correctly answer Christmas-themed trivia questions. Questions can range from holiday history to popular Christmas movies and songs. After the trivia round, a winner is randomly drawn from the pool of correct respondents, blending knowledge with chance for an entertaining twist.
Ugly Sweater Ticket Draw
Encourage guests to wear their most outrageous Christmas sweaters and award raffle tickets based on creativity and humor. Each sweater wearer receives at least one ticket, with extra tickets for particularly eye-catching designs. The raffle draw then awards prizes to ticket holders, making the sweater contest part of the raffle excitement.
Christmas Ornament Guessing Raffle
Fill a clear jar with assorted Christmas ornaments and have guests guess the total number. Each guess requires buying or earning a raffle ticket. The person with the closest guess wins the jar or another prize, while the raffle draw among all ticket holders adds an extra chance to win, making it a dual-layered game.
Holiday Bingo Raffle
Distribute holiday-themed bingo cards featuring items like candy canes, Santa hats, and snowflakes. When a guest completes a bingo, they receive a raffle ticket. At the end of the night, a raffle draw determines the grand prize winner among ticket holders, encouraging participation and friendly competition throughout the event.
Christmas Carol Karaoke Raffle
Invite guests to perform Christmas carols karaoke-style, awarding raffle tickets for each performance. Extra tickets can be given for enthusiasm, creativity, or crowd response. This raffle game encourages guests to get involved and entertains everyone with festive music before the raffle draw.
Reindeer Antler Ring Toss Raffle
Set up a reindeer antler headband worn by a volunteer, and have guests toss rings aiming to land on the antlers. Each successful toss earns a raffle ticket. This physical and fun game adds active engagement and laughter, with the raffle draw rewarding the best ring tossers.
Christmas Movie Quote Raffle
Prepare a list of famous Christmas movie quotes and have guests match them to the correct film. Correct answers earn raffle tickets, and the final draw selects winners from those ticket holders. This game appeals to movie buffs and adds an intellectual challenge to the party.
Holiday Scavenger Hunt Raffle
Create a scavenger hunt with clues hidden around the party venue related to Christmas items or themes. Participants who complete the hunt receive raffle tickets, increasing their chances of winning. This game encourages movement and teamwork, making the raffle more interactive and dynamic.
Gift Wrap Relay Raffle
Organize teams to race wrapping oddly shaped gifts within a time limit. Each team member wrapping successfully earns raffle tickets for their team. The raffle draw at the end rewards individual participants or teams, providing a fast-paced and hilarious activity that ties into the raffle excitement.
How to Choose
When selecting a raffle game for your Christmas party, consider the size and makeup of your group. Games like Secret Santa or Holiday Bingo work well for larger gatherings, while ornament guessing or trivia suits smaller, more intimate parties. Also, think about the energy level you want: active games like Reindeer Antler Ring Toss get guests moving, while Trivia or Movie Quotes are more relaxed. Finally, match the game to your venue’s space and resources—some require props or setup time, others just need paper and pens.
