Ingested: The British Brutal Death Metal Force
Hailing from the UK, Ingested has been known for their relentless brutality and technical precision since their formation in 2009. Their latest album, “Ashes Lie Still,” released in 2022, showcases a perfect blend of punishing riffs and guttural vocals that fans crave. Originating from Texas, Devourment has been a cornerstone of the slam death scene since 1995. Their 2021 album, “Obscene Majesty,” solidified their reputation as masters of brutal, slow-burn riffs and guttural vocals that shake venues to their core. Known for their relentless live performances, Devourment’s shows are characterized by their crushing heaviness and audience participation. If you’re into mosh pits that feel like an assault, catching Devourment live is essential, especially during their current North American run.
Extermination Dismemberment: The Underground Grindcore Powerhouse
Hailing from Montreal, Extermination Dismemberment brings a chaotic blend of grindcore, death metal, and punk. Their 2023 release, “Screaming in the Void,” exemplifies their rapid-fire riffs and nihilistic lyrics. Known for their frenetic stage presence and short, intense sets, they appeal to fans who thrive on raw energy and chaos. Their tour stop is a rare chance to witness a band that pushes the boundaries of extreme metal, often sharing the stage with more prominent acts like these giants of brutality.
