This article covers everything you need to know about their highly anticipated 2022 tour, including dates, venues, ticket tips, and how to choose the best shows for you. Whether you’re a longtime fan or new to their music, this guide will help you make the most of this exciting concert series.
1. Tour Dates and Venues
THREE DAYS GRACE announced a comprehensive tour spanning multiple cities across the United States and Canada from July through October 2022. Major stops include prominent venues like the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, and the Rogers Arena in Vancouver. Each location offers a unique atmosphere, with larger venues providing an energetic, festival-style experience, while smaller theaters allow for more intimate interactions with the band. Marking their first extensive North American tour since 2019, this schedule promises plenty of opportunities for fans to see them live in action.
2. Ticket Sales and Packages
Tickets for the tour went on sale in early May 2022, with options ranging from general admission to VIP packages. The VIP options include exclusive meet-and-greet opportunities, early entry, and merchandise bundles, making them a popular choice for die-hard fans. Prices vary depending on the city and venue size, but early purchase is highly recommended to secure the best seats and avoid sold-out shows. Fans can purchase tickets through official outlets like Ticketmaster and the band’s official website, with some shows offering presale access for fan club members.
3. Special Guests and Opening Acts
This tour features several notable opening acts, including The Pretty Reckless, featuring Taylor Momsen, and Saint Asonia, a band led by Adam Gontier, former lead singer of Three Days Grace. These bands are well-matched in style and set the tone for a high-energy night of rock music. Attending a show with these opening acts adds extra value, especially for fans who want to experience a full evening of compelling live performances. Keep an eye on official announcements for any additional special guests or surprise appearances during specific dates.
4. How to Choose Which Shows to Attend
When selecting which concert to attend, consider factors like location, venue size, and your personal schedule. Larger venues may offer more spectacle and a festival atmosphere, but tickets can be more competitive and pricier. Smaller, more intimate venues often provide closer views and a more personal experience. Also, look at the setlists from previous shows to ensure the band will perform your favorite songs. Finally, check the date that fits best into your summer or fall plans—sometimes a weekend concert can be more convenient for travel and accommodations.
5. Setlist Expectations and New Music
Fans can expect a mix of classic hits like “I Hate Everything About You,” “Animal I Have Become,” and “Riot,” along with tracks from their latest album, “Explosions,” released in 2022. The band has been known to debut new songs during live shows, so attending a concert might give you a first listen to fresh material. Their energetic performance style and dynamic stage presence ensure that every show is a memorable experience, whether you’re singing along to familiar favorites or discovering new tracks.
6. COVID-19 Safety Guidelines
As of mid-2022, health and safety protocols are still in place for concerts, including proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 tests in many venues. Masks may be required inside the arena or theater, depending on local mandates. Be sure to check the specific venue’s policies before attending and arrive early to accommodate security checks. The band and organizers are committed to providing a safe environment so fans can enjoy the show without concerns.
7. Transportation and Accommodation Tips
Planning your trip ahead of time is crucial, especially in busy cities like New York, Los Angeles, or Toronto. Book accommodations early, as hotels tend to fill up quickly during concert weekends. Public transportation options such as subways, buses, and ride-sharing services are often the best way to reach venues, avoiding parking hassles and delays. For out-of-town fans, consider staying near the venue to maximize your concert experience and enjoy nearby attractions before or after the show.
8. Merchandise and Fan Experience
Official tour merchandise, including T-shirts, hoodies, posters, and exclusive items, will be available at each venue. Purchasing merchandise early can ensure you get the sizes and designs you want, and some venues offer online pre-orders. Many fans also participate in meet-and-greet events or photo opportunities with the band, which are often included in VIP packages. Engaging with fellow fans and sharing the excitement can make your concert experience even more memorable.
