Complete List of New Found Glory Band Members

New Found Glory have had six official members since they formed in Coral Springs, Florida, in 1997. The current line-up is the three remaining founders: Jordan Pundik (lead vocals), Ian Grushka (bass) and Cyrus Bolooki (drums). The former members are lead guitarist Chad Gilbert, who died in 2026 after a years-long battle with cancer, rhythm guitarist and lyricist Steve Klein, who left in late 2013, and original drummer Joe Marino, who was replaced by Bolooki in 1997.

Here is every member, with roles and years as the band’s own member list gives them, followed by the touring musicians who have filled the guitar and keyboard roles.

Jordan Pundik – Lead Vocals (1997–present), Occasional Rhythm Guitar (2013–present)

Pundik and Ian Grushka played together in the bands Inner City Kids and Flip 60 before starting New Found Glory in 1997. Since Klein’s departure he has also played some rhythm guitar.

Ian Grushka – Bass, Occasional Backing Vocals (1997–present)

A founder whose garage was the band’s first practice space.

Cyrus Bolooki – Drums, Percussion (1997–present)

Bolooki replaced Joe Marino after two rehearsal sessions, soon after the 1997 debut EP It’s All About the Girls, and has drummed on every album.

Chad Gilbert – Lead Guitar, Backing Vocals (1997–2026); Rhythm Guitar (2013–2026)

Gilbert, formerly the vocalist of Shai Hulud, joined to complete the original quintet and played lead guitar on every record. He shared in December 2021 that he had been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, and substitutes covered his guitar parts on tour from 2023. He died in 2026.

Steve Klein – Rhythm Guitar (1997–2013)

Klein, whom Pundik met at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, was the band’s rhythm guitarist and main lyricist from the start. His departure was announced in late 2013.

Joe Marino – Drums, Percussion (1997)

“Taco Joe” Marino was the original drummer, invited to the garage sessions, and was replaced by Bolooki within the band’s first year.
