Stray Kids have eight members: Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin and I.N. Woojin, the ninth original member, left the group in 2019. Bang Chan is the leader.
Stray Kids (often shortened to SKZ) is a South Korean boy band formed by JYP Entertainment in 2017 through the reality show Stray Kids. Unusually, the line-up was not picked by the agency. Bang Chan handpicked each member from JYP’s trainees. The group released the pre-debut EP Mixtape in January 2018 and debuted officially with I Am Not and its title track “District 9” in March 2018. Current Members of Stray Kids
Bang Chan – Leader, Vocalist, Rapper, Dancer
Bang Chan leads the group and chose its members. He is one of the three members of 3Racha, Stray Kids’ in-house songwriting and production team, which writes and composes much of the group’s music.
Lee Know – Dancer, Vocalist
Lee Know was eliminated during the 2017 reality show, but he returned for the final nine-member line-up.
Changbin – Rapper
Changbin is a rapper and the second member of 3Racha. He is frequently involved in writing lyrics and composing for the group.
Hyunjin – Dancer, Rapper
Hyunjin is one of the group’s dancers and also raps. He has been in every line-up since the group was formed.
Han – Rapper, Vocalist
Han both raps and sings. He is the third member of 3Racha, alongside Bang Chan and Changbin.
Felix – Dancer, Rapper
Like Lee Know, Felix was eliminated on the show and then brought back for the final line-up. In the group he dances and raps.
Seungmin – Vocalist
Seungmin is one of the group’s vocalists. He has been part of Stray Kids since the original line-up.
I.N – Vocalist
I.N is a vocalist. He has also been in every line-up of the group.
Former Member: Woojin – Vocalist (2017–2019)
Woojin was a vocalist in the original nine-member line-up. On October 28, 2019, JYP Entertainment announced that he had left the group and ended his contract for undisclosed personal reasons. Stray Kids released “Astronaut,” their first single as an eight-member group, in November 2019.
