1. What Are The Amsterdam Sessions?
The Amsterdam Sessions are a live recording featuring Metallica performing in front of an intimate audience at the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam on November 3, 2022. It’s a rare opportunity to hear Metallica play in a more personal setting compared to their large stadium shows, making it a must-have for serious collectors and fans alike.
2. Why Is It Only Available on Amazon?
Metallica and Amazon struck a strategic partnership to release The Amsterdam Sessions as an exclusive. This move ensures that fans purchase directly through Amazon, which guarantees high-quality digital and physical formats, along with exclusive bonus content not available elsewhere. The exclusivity also helps to prevent unauthorized sharing or pirated copies, maintaining the integrity of the release. For fans, this means a guaranteed official product with the best possible audio and video quality, accessible through their preferred Amazon platform.
