The current members of Night Ranger are Jack Blades (bass, vocals), Brad Gillis (guitars, vocals), Kelly Keagy (drums, vocals), Eric Levy (keyboards) and Keri Kelli (guitars). Gillis and Keagy are the band’s only constant members, and Blades has played on all but one of Night Ranger’s albums. Levy and Kelli are the newer additions, from 2011 and 2014.
Night Ranger is a hard rock band from San Francisco, California. It was incorporated in 1982 after three years of line-up and name changes, split up in 1989 and has been active again since 1991. The band is best known for the power ballad “Sister Christian,” which reached number five on the Billboard Hot 100 in June 1984. Drums, percussion, and lead and backing vocals. Keagy is one of the two members who have been in every version of Night Ranger.
Brad Gillis (1979–1989, 1991–present)
Lead and rhythm guitars and backing vocals. Gillis is the other constant member. In 1995 he and Keagy released an album under the Night Ranger name with bassist Gary Moon, before the wider reunion.
Jack Blades (1979–1989, 1996–present)
Bass, lead and backing vocals, and rhythm and acoustic guitars. Blades returned in 1996, when he, Jeff Watson and Alan Fitzgerald rejoined and the band released two new albums in the late 1990s.
Eric Levy (2011–present)
Keyboards, synthesizers, piano and backing vocals since 2011.
Keri Kelli (2014–present)
Lead and rhythm guitars and backing vocals. Kelli made touring appearances with the band in 2012 and 2013 before joining as a member in 2014.
Former Night Ranger Members
Former members are Alan Fitzgerald, Jeff Watson, Jesse Bradman, Gary Moon, David Zajicek, Michael Lardie, Reb Beach, Christian Matthew Cullen and Joel Hoekstra. Keyboardist Alan Fitzgerald joined in 1980 and guitarist Jeff Watson soon after, so both were in the early 1980s band.
